Se4rch – Veterinary Specialists are proud to be working in partnership with an independent, private referral hospital in the Bordeaux region of France. We are searching for a referral-level small animal surgeon, ideally board-certified or residency-trained (ECVS/ACVS).
The Practice:
Our clients’ beautiful and unique facility has been located in the heart of Bordeaux for more than 25 years. The facility is equipped with high clinical standards and boasts digital radiography, cardiac and abdominal ultrasound, flexible and rigid endoscopy, arthroscopy, laparoscopy, thoracoscopy, chemotherapy, targeted therapy, and brachytherapy.
The team is composed of 26 Veterinarians in total, inclusive of 6 board-certified specialists covering the following disciplines. Surgery, Diagnostic Imaging, Dermatology, and Internal Medicine.
The Role:
Our client can be very flexible to suit each individual candidate’s needs – The role can be remunerated with a salary contract or on a consultant basis. We can consider surgeons who wish to work between 3-5 days per week.
The Candidate:
We are searching for a referral-level small animal surgeon. Our ideal candidate would be a board-certified or residency-trained ECVS surgeon or residency-trained surgeon. We can also consider very experienced referral surgeons who have not been involved in an ECVS residency program and your candidacy will be based on your surgical proficiency and experience. We can accommodate both Soft Tissue and Orthopedic surgeons or Surgeons who offer a mixture of both.
Summary:
Role: Small Animal Surgery Specialist- ECVS/ ACVS
Hours: Negotiable- Ideally 4 days per week.
Weekends/Out of hours: TBC
Salary and benefits: Negotiable package on a case-by-case basis. Commensurate with experience.
