Board Certified or Board Eligible Small Animal Radiologist

We have a fantastic opportunity for a board-certified small animal Radiologist to join an emergency and specialty hospital in Toronto on a permanent basis.

The Practice:

Our client has a state-of-the-art facility with advanced imaging including CT and MRI scanners with a 32-slice Siemens Somatom and a 3T Magnetom Skyra. There is a dedicated MRI technician generating the MRI images, a 7d Machine Vision Surgical Guidance System which allows fast and radiation-free image-guided surgery for both spine and cranial navigation. Two digital radiology suites, a dedicated Storz fluoroscopy/surgical suite, two Sonosite Edge II ultrasounds for aFAST and tFAST, a GE Logic F8 abdominal ultrasound. Their aim is to increase the quality of care for companion animals through knowledge transfer to create leading patient care outcomes.

The Role:

This is a full-time role, joining a team of veterinary specialists offering services in 24/7 emergency medicine, critical care, oncology, radiology, diagnostic imaging, neurology, cardiology, and surgery. In this role, you will play a positive and active role in fostering team relationships and should take an interest in the growth and development of the department. In return, our client is offering an excellent salary and benefits package which includes a salary starting at around $225,000 CAD per annum increasing with experience. There is also a signing bonus in place.

The Candidate:

You will be an ambitious, board-certified small animal Radiologist who is a strong communicator, self-motivated, flexible, and dependable. You should have excellent time-management skills and be happy working as part of a strong team. You should also hold the following qualifications:

Board Certified (ACVR/ ECVDI) or residency trained and eligible to sit for board examination

Valid Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, enabling practice in Canada

Member in good standing with the College of Veterinarians of Ontario (CVO)
